My wife and I came from Washington State for our 20 year anniversary. I found this place by chance just messing with google maps and decided to take a chance on it. HOLY COW was that a great choice. This place is so fun, clean, quiet, beds are insanely comfortable, staff were so friendly. The restaurants are great, the bakery’s (Bonny Breads) was our favorite! We are in our very early 40’s and love adventure. This place was the perfect mix of quiet small town and city comforts. Train to Boston or Salem is only an easy 1/2 mile walk. I can’t say enough about how amazing we found this great lodge to be. Bedrooms are small, sure, but for us that like to adventure in the day and just chill in bed at night this was no problem. We had the pleasure of staying in two different rooms to get the full experience. Room 106 with a queen and loft bed and then Room 111 with a king. Both were great, but the little extra space in 111 was nice. This is niche and different, but in the best of ways. We will always remember this amazing place and if life ever brings us back to the area this will be the only choice worth considering. Loved it!

First things first: The rooms are tiny and the front desk is only staffed from 9 AM - 5 PM. There. That[s out of the way. Everything else about this little jewel of a hotel is excellent. Especially the location. It is right in the middle of Beverly, on Cabot street where all the stores, restaurants, and bars are. It is a short walk to Rantoul (spelling?) St. for microbreweries and more restaurants. I was there last weekend with my wife & daughter for a family birthday party. We were able to walk to everything, including the birthday venue (Mission Boathouse) breakfasts (Crave and the Atomic Cafe). Handy to bars too.. the Indo, Fibber McGee[s (live music!) and the Anchor are all walking distance. The room we had was a “King bed plus loft” which was comfortable even for my daughter (a college senior). One other thing to note: the rooms have a modern bathroom with a frosted glass door, so if you turn on the bathroom light at night it might wake up your spouse. Parking was easy in the municipal lot behind the hotel. After-hours check-in is handled with a cell phone app that acts as a room key (bluetooth? NFC? I dunno) I would gladly go back to the Cabot Lodge for any future family gathering in Beverly, whenever there arectoo many guests for my brother to host at his house.

Excellent experience from start to finish at The Cabot Lodge! Perfect place to stay when seeing a show at The Cabot Theatre. The team is welcoming and friendly. The hotel is beautiful, clean and smells amazing. The bed was incredibly comfortable, too! Sweet touches like complimentary bottled waters , snacks and chocolates at the bedside. Just steps away from amazing restaurants, bars, cafes and shops.I will be sure to stay at The Cabot Lodge again! 💛

The Cabot Lodge was so charming. The color scheme made you calm and think of relaxing beach. Not sure if owner or staff but she was out watering her plants outside like taking care of her own home. Extremely clean and you feel like you belong. It was a very Hamptonish surprise but with a down to earth charm. Parking is very frustrating and weird but not going to ding them on that as they have to follow the ordinance but that is a Huge drawback, I will definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay at The Cabot Lodge! When our itinerary changed and we needed to stay an extra night, Tara went above and beyond to help accommodate us. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The room was a perfect fit for two and the access to a small kitchenette in the hall was so nice for early mornings. We picked the location for its proximity to Salem area and for the train station access to Boston. It was so convenient! The building was easy to access even after hours and located near great shops and dining. We would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

This was our second stay at Cabot Lodge and I cannot wait to go back! The room is so cute and my daughter loves the loft! The owner and employee could not be any more accommodating and friendly. They made our stay AMAZING, offering some excellent dining and activity recommendations that were all SPOT ON! Absolutely the best place I could imagine staying in this cute small town. Please don't tell anyone, though. I don't want the place to be full next time I want to return. 😀
